Dog Coloring Pages
Dogs are said to be man's best friend, but it seems they may
be even better friends with children. That's not to say that
you should ever go up to a strange dog, but being friends with
your family dog can be great fun. Dogs love you, will protect
you and will even comfort you when you are having a bad day.
But which ones do what best? Well, like people, dogs come in
all shapes and sizes and from different backgrounds. You can
learn more about this in Dog Breed
Coloring Pages, using dog
coloring pages to have fun and to learn more about your dog.
More Than Just Man's Best Friend
One of the most popular dogs, the German Shepherd. This dog
is mostly black but can have gray, brown and a lighter brown
almost like the color of carmel candy on his ears, face, neck,
belly and tail. The German Shepherd is a working dog and very
loyal. They are easily trained in obedience and protection which
is why they are the best dog to work with a police department
or for a rescue team to help find lost people.
Other dogs, like the Golden Retriever are active and fun loving and also extremely
patient. This makes them a great seeing-eye dog for blind people. These dogs
guide blind people and act like their eyes, helping them cross the road, walk
through the grocery store and more. Another very popular dog, the Labrador
Retriever is known for it's great intelligence and friendliness. This dog is
a great swimmer and loves to play in water. They also love to chase big, bright
balls. Now, that's a sight for a coloring book.
Smaller dogs like Jack Russell Terriers or poodles are good lap dogs because
they like to sit in your lap. Greyhound dogs are good at racing because they
are tall, skinny and very fast, and are great fun to color because of their
expressive eyes and face. Go online today for your Free
