Fairy Coloring Pages and Books
When you think of a fairy, do you automatically think of the
Tooth Fairy? Or, do you remember Tinkerbell from the Disney movie
Peter Pan, or perhaps the fairy in the pirate movie, Hook? Whatever
you think of you should know that fairies have been around as
long as people and there are many, many different versions. However,
they all seem to have two things in common - magical abilities
and being able to fly. With fairies to color, you can create your
own version of a fairy and use Fairy Coloring Pages to show what
you believe fairies look like.
The Magical 'Little People' Come Alive
Sometimes called a Pixie, as with Tinkerbell, fairies often
leave a trail of pixie dust. This sparkly stuff is also known
by many people as fairy dust. Funny, though, it seems this fairy
dust is left only by girl fairies and never guy fairies. Now,
why could that be?
It is also believed that young men and young women, children and
babies are especially vulnerable to fairies. For fairies are known
to bring good fortune and are said to work their own life's fortune
into the life of the one he or she chooses to cast their special
magic upon.
As the story goes, fairies are believed to be "stuck"
in some undefined phase of life, after previously enjoying life
as a regular person and now they pass this "good life"
on to others, especially young men and young women, children and
babies.
What's more, because fairies represent different meanings in
different cultures (particularly in Greek and Roman myths),
people
around the world have different ideas of what a fairy is, what
a fairy looks like and what a fairy can do. Meaning no matter
what your thoughts on fairies are, it's likely someone, somewhere
in the world will believe in them with you. Take advantage of Free
Printable Coloring Pages and see if you can find someone
to share your fairy stories with.
