Located just below the United States, Mexico’s culture
is rich; however, many people who live here are from very poor
families. In fact, it was nearly 100 years ago when the various
areas of Mexico were brought together to form the area that
is
America’s closet neighbor and since then, the people of
Mexico have enjoyed more peace and more wealth. Today, much
has
changed and Mexico has become a tourist hotspot for travelers
of all ages, making Mexican Coloring Books a
great way to learn about the interesting history of Mexico.

As our closest neighbor, we share many things with Mexico, like
tacos, for example. Did you know that tacos originated in Mexico?
The American version of Mexican tacos is slightly different,
though. The Mexican tacos usually have beans and more vegetables,
while
the American version is usually chocked-full of meat and cheese.
But, our version is a lot more fun to eat, isn’t it?
Also in Mexico, in a city called Taos, you can find some of the
most beautiful silver jewelry in the world. That’s just
one of the many reasons lots of people who live in California
and Texas, both states that share a border with Mexico, travel
there frequently.
The native language of Mexico is Spanish, very different from
the English language spoken in the United States. However, because
such close neighbors to the United States, more and more children
in Mexico are learning to speak some English in school.
Mexico is a beautiful country to visit and has beautiful ancient
pyramids called the Aztec pyramids and the Mayan pyramids of Chichen-Itza,
which are more than 1,500 years old and are as tall as a 20-story
building.
Mexico is also well known for its spectacular beaches, with some
of the most visited being Acapulco and Cancun.
